Documentary Series - The Nature Of Cities

The Nature of Cities is a feature length documentary that will delve into one of the most vital issues of our time; the need to re-shape the way we live in cities.

The Planet is urbanizing at the rate of 7 New York’s or London’s every year and more people live in cities now than lived on the entire planet in 1970. Our World cities, attract the most people and devour the most energy. Prosperity grows as humanity loses its touch with the natural world, endangering the health of the planet but also our own personal health.

We will discover how the design of our cities will determine the future of our own health and our relationship with the climate. This documentary will explore how the way we work, live and play in cities has a direct impact on both our physical and mental health.

This is a film with climate change as our backstory, but the main narrative will be how do we actually want to live in our cities? We will look at the city as our central character. View each city as a living organism. Complex, sometimes chaotic and continually changing.
