Cities are growing at an unprecedented rate, with 80% of the world's inhabitants set to live in cities by 2050. How we live in them will be guided by the choices made now.
In the race to build and redevelop new urban areas, we are forgetting the most important ingredient, people.
The idea was initiated by the executive producer Neil Smith, and commissioned to director/producer
Spencer Meredith of Look See Films. With narration
by Jeremy Newsum, the former Chairman of
The Urban Land Institute.
The documentary interviews leaders in urban planning, epidemiology, and city residents to write a new plan for cities with health at their heart.
The film offers a new perspective on the climate agenda with a sense of hope and tangible actions everyone can take.
