Call The Midwife Series 15

Filming has started on the fifteenth series of Call The Midwife and we're back at Chatham Dockyards for filming with the cast and crew.

The new series starts with a two-part Christmas Special, set in Hong Kong and Poplar, and will be followed by eight new hour-long episodes set in the East End, coming to BBC iPlayer and BBC One from January 2026.

There are plans for an exciting development, the world of Nonnatus House will be expanding out into a prequel series and film.

The new projects will be written, created and produced by the all-female team behind the hugely successful current hit TV show; showrunner Heidi Thomas and executive producers Pippa Harris and Ann Tricklebank, who also produces.
